Darlene Harbart of Darlene Harbart Designs
Darlene has a love of many materials. Her designs include the use of anodised aluminum, polymer clay, sterling and fine silver, stainless steel, semi-precious stones, pearls and much more. From the structure of her chain mail pieces and freshwater pearls to the organic designs of her polymer clay and everything that falls in between.
Jewellery design in mixed materials
Collections include anodised aluminum chain mail with stainless steel, titanium and synthetic rubber, fine silver pendants made from individual leaves and seeds, and classic strands of freshwater pearls. Her newest range of polymer clay draws on nature's rich organic vein. Many of her pieces incorporate ammonites, leaves and seeds in the design. Look closely.
Darlene gets much of her inspiration from the natural world. Her jewellery ranges from the vivid flowers of a summer’s afternoon to the crispness of a frosty winter’s morn. The brightness of a spring dawn to the subtleness of the autumn forest at dusk.
